I am blogging on my Saturday night, college football is almost over and I wanted to shed some light on just how powerful and wonderful eBay really is, folks eBay is a GREAT place to do niche research and you can get lots of answers from eBay. eBay gets about 10-25 million visitors a day, it could be more now but can you imagine all of those visitors? Lets say you are interested in self help, just type self help into the eBay search tool and see just how many auctions are running on the topic and how many are getting bids. Lets get even more focused and type “stop smoking” and lets see how many auctions are running and lets see the bids, this method works pretty well but a better method would be to use the advanced search and click on Completed listings only and then press search, it shall ask you for your eBay username and password.

You get a wealth of information here because it tells you the END results that we want, it tells you just how popular or unpopular that niche/product was.

eBay is a great tool for research and one of my favorite ebay URLs is http://pulse.ebay.com/ , this tells you what is really hot on eBay and can also give you lots of information for your research.
